Ramadan's food in a tiny village in Saudi Arabia

 بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Today I'm going to talk about Ramadan's food in one of many villages in Saudi Arabia just because I want to practice my English so bear with me

Today is the 24th of Ramadan in the hijery calendar to be precise and it's Wednesday the 3rd of April

Anyway we fast before the sun set in the sky on the morning so it's in my village from almost 5:00 a.m. on the morning until 6:37 on the evening You count it by yourself how many hours we fast? ( Cause I tired to do it myself 😂)

We break our fast firstly with date fruit and some water as you can see it on the photo ( of course we do that after we hear the Maghreb Athan)

Hmmm 🤔 so after we had a variety of food like samosa with different kinds of filling mostly of the time it's with tuna meat or cheese and also there's samosa with potatoes filling

I'm going to talk a little bit about our food here so there's soup and logaimat If you don't know the last one it's like what you can see in this image which is basically made of bread, water and a little bit of salt however some people baked with sugar and become sweet but not here in this village in particular

There's a dessert called Basbosa as you can see in the image we eat it all the time especially in Ramadan

Additionally we had salad, Ful Medames like this photo

And after we break our fast w we went to pray and worship Allah we called this prayer in Arabic Alasha and altrawih prayer all of this is in the 20 days of Ramadan because in the last ten of the month we had also al tahjod prayer which is from 12:00 a.m.

I don't know if I make sense or not

Lastly we had al sahwor food or you can call it meal which is before we fast almost in the 3:00 a.m. I want to say 90% of Saudi had a heavy sahwor we call it Kabsa and sometimes we decide to change from Kabsa so we go to Kebab

Down below you can see the Kabsa

And that's it thanks: Badriah
